You may remember our newsletter about the En Numerous Vermells "Classic" from last week. We told you about Silvia Puig and about the amazing wine she is producing in Priorat.

Without rehashing all of the details, this is a tiny project started by Silvia Puig in her garage in one of the villages of Priorat, the site of Spain’s most intense wines. She was consulting for some of the more important wineries, like Clos Figueras, and wanted to make wine in “limited quantities so that the artisan element is valued.” En Números Vermells' wines remain handcrafted, with the Aiaiai wine being blended from Garnacha, Cariñena and Syrah.

All I can tell you is that if you are even remotely into wines from this area, this stuff is worth a look...and this happens to be the lowest price this wine has ever been offered for in the United States. The only price I could currently find online was a magnum of the 2019 vintage someone is selling for $106 (HERE). That's the equivalent of $53 per bottle!!
 
Don't let anyone ever tell you that you have to pay more for artisanal, hand made wines. Case in point is this right here. Hand picked grapes, hand sorted, hand crafted wine and the result is a dreamy red wine for less than $20.

Pro tip? These wines pair really well with cranberry sauce. My favorite kind is the Ocean Spray that comes from the the can (which is certainly not artisanal 😂) but the first taste transports you directly to your childhood. You know what I'm talking about.
