What's up with the wine?

Barbera probably was once California’s potential deadly weapon – we will never know because most of those vines disappeared a few decades ago. On the other hand, Italy's Piedmont and particularly the Monferrato DOC have proven that we already know where the world’s best Barbera happens, here in the grape’s birthplace.

As is appropriate to the tangy fruit complexity of the grape, this crushable wine is fermented and aged only in stainless steel and cement. No oak needed because this is a wine you just want to drink at a measurable velocity.

So if you're into value (this is the equivalent of an $8.99 750ml bottle), into Italian wine, into delicious reds, or just into wine in general...you're gonna want to give this a go!
