Farondes Red Burgundy

Burgundy is a tricky place to buy wine. If you want to spend a small fortune, you can do that, and if you choose carefully, you will get something great. But move down the ladder to the Bourgogne Rouges and things become far more assured. At this price, you’re not risking too much and in fact winemaker Jean-Philippe Prétet creates elegant, pretty wines from his twenty-five-year-old vines. No trickiness, only treats.
