Newton Skyside (formerly known as "Red Label") Chardonnay is an iconic California Chardonnay...and if you read the subject line, we were not joking. Indeed, the last time we were able to offer you Newton Skyside at this price was September 8th, 2009.

So imagine how pumped we are today!!!

Once upon a time (pre-Sideways days) Newton’s name was spoken in reverent tones as, alongside Pride Mountain, Pahlmeyer, Duckhorn and a few others; this is where Merlot excelled. But then people started treating Merlot like that awkward cousin who has too much to drink and then starts talking politics at the Thanksgiving table and great work stretching back to the 1980s was somehow forgotten.

Newton, like those others, has survived it, and besides, they make other tasty wines like this Chardonnay blended from fat Napa County juice and leaner, more structured Sonoma County lots.
