What makes it so awesome?

Grenache is a remarkable grape with the ability to generate rich, dark and powerful wine when the crop yields are modest, but just as equally it can make vast quantities of pleasant wine, with less color but vibrantly fruity aromas. As a basis for rosé, it’s very nearly perfect, and it’s been the grape of choice for southern French rosés for a century or more. A touch of texture, that beautiful light pink color, and lots of raspberries and strawberries.
