If you’ve ever been a fan of Far Niente Chardonnay, then you have surely bumped into Nickel & Nickel, their single vineyard designated bottlings that comprise some of the sources for Far Niente’s long time near-cultish Chardonnay. These are big, expansive, layered Chardonnays, with plenty of oak spice and butter, never for the faint of heart or shy of wallet. This version is sourced from the Truchard Vineyard, a proven spot for excellent, even structured Napa Carneros Chardonnay.
