The 2022 Histoire de Grains (which is 100% Marselan), is a testament that amazing wine simply does not need to be expensive.

Wait.........what in the world is Marselan?

Throughout the expansive Roussillon-Languedoc are some of the more adventurous French grapes with which you might not be familiar – Marselan is at the top of the heap. It’s a crossing of Cabernet Sauvignon and Grenache and in the last quarter century is being looked to as one of the grapes that might save France from climate change. Will it? Who the heck knows. But it certainly is interesting stuff: a bit lighter than Cabernet Sauvignon but with some of its strengths and backbone. Bordeaux has just recently chosen it as a newly approved grape there; they see its character and future importance as well.

So many wines in our July 4th lineup are off the charts in terms of their quality to price ratio, and we're leading with this one for a reason. It's an absolute game changer at this price.
