July 4th Specials!

*Please note our stores will be closed on July 4th, 2023 - but the sale prices will all be active on our website through midnight on July 4th.*

*Curbside Pickup Always Available*

What you're about to see below may be one of the greatest lineup of value wines we have ever offered!

Way back in 2020, with the 4th falling on a Saturday, we wanted to make sure those of you who celebrated the week before the 4th and the week after the 4th could get in on the action. So what did that mean? Running the sale for almost two weeks, of course :)

In 2021 and 2022 we stuck with the two week sale and the feedback was tremendous.....so here we are again!!

That means you get to purchase wine at silly prices for 15 days AND you get to celebrate the 4th for a couple of weeks! You have our permission. Some of you may wish to celebrate the whole summer, and we are on board with that plan 😁

Quick note - ALL of these sale items are offered to you at the lowest online prices in the USA. Boom! (that was a big firework going off, just fyi)

So Happy Birthday America! And of course, THANK YOU ALL for the opportunity to serve you. We are humbled by your support and we strive to earn your business each and every day.

Let's do this people!

2021 Balcon Sur La Mer Rosé
Release Price: $20.00
SALE Price: $9.99 (net)
SAVE 50%

Lowest Online Price in the USA!

Balcon delivers everything you want in a great rosé in spades. This unctuous pink wine is dry, stony, fruity, lengthy. Comprised of Grenache, Grenache Gris and Mourvedre, there’s a lot more here than many a rosé that you’ve tasted before.

2021 SWIMBAD Rosé
Release Price: $15.00
SALE Price: $8.99 (net)
SAVE 40%

Lowest Online Price in the USA!

Rosé is the tipple of the tempting whether we are in Touraine, Tempe, Tuscaloosa, Tuscany or Saint-Tropez. Provence, the archetypal French vacationland, is the poster child for what modern rosé ought to be. Pale, quenching, lip-smacking.

2021 L'Azerolle de Minervois
Release Price: $20.00
SALE Price: $9.99 (net)
SAVE 50%

Lowest Online Price in the USA!

The town of Minerve is named after the Greek goddess Minerva, and the vine probably arrived with the Greeks in the 6th century BC. The area prospered under the Roman Empire and its thirst for all such local wines. Here, the two most important Rhone grapes, Syrah and Grenache, are given the stage along with the no less intense grape Cinsault, all are drawn from 50-year-old vines.

2021 Bleu Blanc Thau
Release Price: $14.99
winestore. Price: $7.99 (net)
SAVE 47%

Lowest Online Price in the USA!

This blend of Picpoul,Terre, and Colombard is so tasty, so refreshingly crisp (but still weighty enough to matter) and, dare we say it, a freaking value that it practically crawled into our bag and said take me home the first time we tasted it. Say hello to your new house white wine.

2021 Sonoma Cutrer Russian River Ranches Chardonnay
Winery Price: $28.00
SALE PRICE: $16.98 (net) per bottle
SAVE 40%
Lowest Online Price in the USA!

It's Sonoma Cutrer - what more do we really need to say? Oak, Vanilla, butter - all that you expect from a great California Chard and then a little extra thrown in for good measure...

2022 Histoire de Grains Marselan
Release Price: $20.00
SALE Price: $9.99 (net) per bottle
SAVE 50%
Lowest Online Price in the USA!

Throughout the expansive Roussillon-Languedoc are some of the more adventurous French grapes with which you might not be familiar – Marselan is at the top of the heap. It’s a crossing of Cabernet Sauvignon and Grenache and in the last quarter century is being looked to as one of the grapes that might save France from climate change. Will it? Who knows. But it certainly is interesting stuff: a bit lighter than Cabernet Sauvignon but with some of its strengths and backbone. Bordeaux has just recently chosen it as a newly approved grape there; they see its character and future importance as well.

2021 Montcharme Malbec
winestore. Price: $20.00
SALE Price: $9.99 (net) per bottle
SAVE 50%
Lowest Online Price in the USA!

Malbec may turn out to be an excellent tool for Languedoc Roussillon winemakers. Is it for sure? Not at all. Malbec is a southwestern France grape and a tertiary grape at that; Mediterranean France has little experience with it. But the region has elevation, so maybe we’re going to see more like this tasty little thing. let’s be clear about this: Malbec likes altitude. Why? No one really knows.

2021 Z/N Zinfandel
Release Price: $20.00
SALE Price: $9.99 (net)
SAVE 50%

Lowest Online Price in the USA!

I know, I know, Zinfandel is the same grape as Italy’s Primitivo. But is it? Even the best Primitivo doesn’t have the fruitiness, the power, the sheer intensity of California’s best Zins. And how do we describe that fruitiness? I always find that it has something like more red fruits than black fruits, with a little hint of red currant jelly right at the end that is part of the easy friendliness of the grape.

2022 Rocoiseau Viognier
Release Price: $12.99
SALE Price: $7.99 (net)
SAVE 38%

Lowest Online Price in the USA!

More than a half century ago Viognier was forgotten; near extinct. In the 1980s things blew up, with acreages quintupling. There were a few successes, but most just didn't do justice to the grape. Winegrowers eventually found the ideal conditions, while the Viogniers of the Rhone have become pricey and sought-after. Elevated spots in the Pays d’Oc are this wine’s source; to a great degree this is the grape’s frontier now.

2021 Seigneur de Feu Cabernet
Release Price: $20.00
SALE Price: $9.99 (net)
SAVE 50%

Lowest Online Price in the USA!

Throughout the last two centuries of winedom, French wine has been aged in French oak. Or has it? In the 19th century, French forests, planted for warships, were plentiful enough for barrels too. In the early 20th centuries, barrels made from Eastern European oak became more common, especially after WWI decimated French forests. But they were replanted with purpose; the barrel industry returned and has dominated the idea of top flight wine ever since. Yet, American oak is crucial to many other wine regions: Spain, Australia, the U.S., maybe even Silver Oak (they love that vanilla smell). So this is a southern French Cab with American oak’s lashing of coconut and sawdust – the classic aromas of American oak barrels.

2021 Les Peyrautins Pinot Noir
Release Price: $20.00
SALE Price: $9.99 (net)
SAVE 50%

Lowest Online Price in the USA!

You have been told that Pinot Noir is the most finicky of grapes; indeed, it’s supposed to be the “heartbreak grape.” The statement is not false but it’s also not completely true. To make great Pinot Noir is bloody difficult and to do it consistently is virtually impossible, unless you’re in some famous place. But that’s true of most grapes. It’s true that Pinot Noir grown in the wrong place is pretty dreadful, maybe more dreadful than most other grapes. But the middle ground has plenty of wealth to it – you need a friendly place for grape growing but not too friendly. With France’s Pays d’Oc, there are places where it’s easy to ripen grapes and areas that offer just enough challenge to coax Pinot Noir into showing its friendly and compelling side. This is an ideal example.

2020 Waccamaw Proprietary Red
Release Price: $25.00
SALE Price: $12.99 (net)
SAVE 48%

Lowest Online Price in the USA!

Put together a bunch of passionate kids (some with backgrounds selling wines for legends such as Eric Solomon and Martine Saunier) deeply immersed in the California biz and you can find some pretty tasty wines. That's what they did and that's what we have here.

2020 Bonterra "The Roost" Chardonnay
Release Price: $50.00 (Click HERE to see)
SALE Price: $24.75 (net)
SAVE 50%

Lowest Online Price in the USA!

Bonterra is as close to an OG among the wineries devoted to sustainability and true regenerative viticulture as any among American wineries. This single vineyard wine comes from a spot nestled between the shore of the upper Russian River and a blue heron nesting site and preserve; hence the name of Blue Heron Ranch. It’s Biodynamically farmed, and shows the sort of tangy cut that’s typical of Mendocino Chardonnay.

2020 Pocapita Rioja
Release Price: $15.00
SALE Price: $7.99 (net)
SAVE 46%

Lowest Online Price in the USA!

Pocapita is a great example of how much the Rioja region has upped its game in the last decade. Like many of their wines of late, this 100% Tempranillo is rich, powerful, intense, heady and every bit a modern version of concentrated Rioja, but one that nevertheless still tastes like Rioja.

2021 Highland Falls Proprietary Red
Release Price: $20.00
SALE Price: $9.99 (net)
SAVE 50%

Lowest Online Price in the USA!

"Mountain-grown, it’s the richest kind,” as coffee commercials used to say, but it’s also true of Cabernet. Foley Family's pedigree doesn’t hurt either: the guys who bring you Merus, Chalone and Chalk Hill Wines are behind the powerhouse Highland Falls lineup too.

2020 Corasado Monastrell
Release Price: $25.00
SALE Price: $12.99 (net) per bottle
SAVE 48%

Lowest Online Price in the USA!

Bodegas Lo Nuevo has unquestionably modernized their winery; it’s practically a technical marvel now. But what makes these wines special is the place, Jumilla, with its intense weather. It’s tough ground for most grapes, but Monastrell (the French, who borrowed it from Spain, call it Mourvedre) and Cariñena (once again, a borrowed grape dubbed Carignan by the French) can thrive here.

2021 Castelet Saint Peyran
Release Price: $25.00
SALE Price: $9.99 (net)
SAVE 60%

Lowest Online Price in the USA!

We like the Vellas family; we buy a lot of their wines. Why? Because they have 100s of acres at their disposal in southern France? Yes, true. Is it because they consistently offer us wines that reflect their place (places like Pic-Saint-Loup)? Sure, that too. But, actually, it’s because value in French wine can be hard to find and the Vellas family just keeps bringing it to us. Rich, expansive Syrah for this kind of money? Yeah, yeah, that’s why.

2021 Snowvale Sierra Foothills
Release Price: $80.00
SALE Price: $19.99 (net) per bottle
SAVE 75%

Lowest Online Price in the USA!

A century and a half ago, the Sierra Foothills was the scene of a whole lot of winemaking. Why? Because there were many, many thirsty men there, all assembled around a pan and a creek or a little seam of possible gold. Sad to say, we don’t know what those wines were like. But we do know that there are still many century old vines in them thar hills.

2021 Terrasses de la Mer
Release Price: $20.00
SALE Price: $9.99 (net)
SAVE 50%

Lowest Online Price in the USA!

So, is it okay if I predict that Sauvignon Blanc becomes the world’s most widely planted grape in the next decade? In southern France, with the collection of hills, valleys, and plains rolling down to the Mediterranean, it thrives. Sure, the plains are not where you grow Sauvignon Blanc, but there are plenty of other spots where you do. There these wines are vibrant, expressive and tangy – and it’s rare that those three descriptors go together.

2022 Belleplane Chardonnay
Release Price: $25.00
SALE Price: $9.99 (net) per bottle
SAVE 60%
Lowest Online Price in the USA!

In France, the grape is sometimes secondary - it’s the place that counts. The French label police have loosened up and they’re okay with Chardonnay being on this label. It matters if you’re close to the coast, or up in the mountains, and with a grape like Chardonnay, cooler, higher elevation sites are best. A third of the wine is barrel-fermented - the rest is in stainless steel, with enough lees-stirring to fatten up the wine and round it out.

2020 Clerus Saint Chinian

Release Price: $20.00
SALE Price: $9.99 (net)
SAVE 50%
Lowest Online Price in the USA!

I'm not trying to be hyperbolic, but we just had a shipment of wines come in containing some of the best value wines you are going to try this year, and Clerus is one of them. I'm a huge fan of wines that are just plain delicious, regardless of their price - and this fits that bill.
