We carry all sorts of French Sauvignon Blanc that could easily pass for Sancerre, but we have had a hard time finding the real thing at a friendly price. So when you can scoop up Sancerre from Domaine La Barbotaine (they are the real deal) for less than $25, you don't pass that opportunity up!

Every region has its champions, even if it’s unfair to single out particular producers when the ancient Sauvignon Blanc area has so many heroes. But the Champault family of Domaine La Barbotaine are one of those champions (they've been doing this for 3 generations); and in a vintage as lush as 2022, this is just plain fabulous.
