Let’s see…Foley Family…they own, hmm, Chateau St Jean (former Number One Wine Spectator producer), Ferrari Carano (great Sonoma wines), Chalk Hill (at times, considered California’s benchmark Chardonnay), among other estates elsewhere. So it is safe to assume that they probably know what they’re doing when it comes to California Cabernet Sauvignon at reasonable prices.

Foley Family came to us about a month ago and asked if we could help them move some Wind and Grace, and after tasting it we were happy to oblige (it was a head turner, in the best possible way). Only caveat was we wanted to come right out of the gates with a sale at $9.99 per bottle and we would not touch it unless they could help us hit that price point. They agreed, and here we are...

I'm not gonna get all "This is the best $9.99 you are ever gonna try in your lifetime...", but here we have one of the top producers in all of California, sending us some extremely delicious Cabernet Sauvignon for a song.

So what I am going to tell you that is until they turn this deal off, I've found one of my new weekday wines!
