Maybe the hottest white wine pickup for us in the fall of 2022 was Maison Latour Renard Blanc. It's delicious, the package is awesome, and the price is right.

Only major downside of you all loving it this much is our distributor ran out right around the Holidays, and we have been out of stock ever since.

Today I am here on this beautiful Friday to tell you that the darkness of winter is over. Maison Latour is back in stock, and ready to rock for the weekend!

What makes it so good?

A white blend of Vermentino and Clairette from the region called Saint Guilhem le Désert is something maybe you haven’t heard of - and that’s okay. But you might want to know that perhaps the most famous and most highly regarded wine in all of Languedoc-Roussillon, Mas de Daumas, is part of this area. Those wines? $40 and up.

What I find most interesting though is how a wine that is packaged this beautifully, that is this well made, from a small medieval town in the middle of almost nowhere south of France can show up half way across the planet on the shelf for only $14.99. It's tough to really comprehend...but lets not look a gift horse in the mouth!
