So winemaker Ted Henry back in 2021 was named head winemaker at Groth Vineyards (here). The man has an incredible track record in the valley. Winemaker at Clos du Val, Jarvis, Artesa just to name a few. He also started a pet project in Coombsville called Prime and as part of his deal with Groth he agreed to shut the winery down in November of 2022.
 
That means somebody needed to close out some wine - and given how much we already loved this project, we were there with open arms.
 
We are able to offer this wine to you today for only $34.99. Total Wine still has it for sale at the “Winery Direct” price of $77.99 (here)
 
Only hiccup is obviously this wine will not be made again, so this is a one time deal. 123 cases landed just two weeks ago - and we only have 160 bottles left.
