I watched Top Gun - Maverick last night for the first time, and I have to say it really was a fun movie.

The Naval Fighter Weapons School is only looking for the best of the best when it comes to fighter pilots. Here at winestore. we're also looking the best of the best...when it comes to finding the best quality wine for the lowest possible price.

When one of the best winemaking teams in Europe get together and gather juice from some of the oldest Cabernet vineyards in Spain (pic here), and age the wine in barrels typically reserved for $100+ wines (pic of the barrel here), and the retail price is set to be less than $40...we take serious interest.

It is powerful, poised and persuasive Cabernet and to put it frankly, stupid cheap for the money. Honestly, I wish this was one of those things that would never run out of supply.

So if you're wondering what is gonna go well with what you're grilling this weekend - all I can tell you is this is what we are serving at our house.

Now we gotta just make all the sides!
