Even though our stores are closed today, each New Year's Day we do a one day sale on our website to ring in the new year - and the catch is the wine has to be offered at our lowest price EVER. That's right...one time only, to kick of the new year right, lowest price we will ever offer.

So to say goodbye to 2021 and hello to hopefully a wonderful 2022, we are offering one of our favorites for an absolutely silly price of $9.99 (I'm getting fired up just writing this!)

Apparently I am not the only one that loves Orlaida, as the Vivino iPhone App I use says it is in the top 6% of all wines in the world (HERE), and that the current 2019 vintage rates better than any other vintage...so maybe I am onto something :)

Why do we love it?

Bodegas Lo Nuevo's success has allowed them to spread their wings to other prestigious regions. Their Montsant projects have brought them perhaps even more fame than in Jumilla. Orlaida could become a benchmark for the potential of Montsant. The vineyards for their Garnacha are at 2,000 ft. in altitude in the area of Cornudella de Montsant, with Priorat like slate soils. Cariñena vineyards in Darmós and Masrig are on clay soils, and the Syrah vines are located on limestone.

What does all that mean? Delicious, complex, and full bodied red wine that is right in my wine budget sweet spot!
