Langtry Old Soldier Red

Lillie Langtry, née Emilie Charlotte Le Breton was a famous actress and socialite during the 19th century. In 1888, she purchased 4,200 acres of land in Northern California. This is from their steep, 35-acre Tephra Ridge Vineyard on the north foothill of Howell Mountain. The blend is mostly Bordeaux varieties; there’s also a bit of Petite Sirah in there because that grape is part of why this winery matters. Their Petite Sirah is righteous.
