Matthew Wallace Cabernet Sauvignon
Julien Fayard may be the hottest winemaker in California right now. After cutting his teeth at Lafite Rothschild, he moved to the US where he became the winemaker for Philippe Melka before heading out on his own. His wines are all delicious, but they are also all extremely expensive. This gem is sourced from both Regusci Ranch and the Wallace Ranch, and from the uber hyped 2017 vintage. This is the type of deal where the price/quality ratio hits a level I go in for a case.
